Borjan Geshkovski is a PhD student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). He earned a Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Bordeaux. He first did an internship on parabolic variational inequalities, optimal control of obstacles and free boundary problems under the supervision of Professor Enrique Zuazua, before joining the team as a PhD student later.
In this tutorial, we will present and elaborate an optimal control strategy for the obstacle problem in two space dimensions using Python's FEniCS toolbox. Different meshes and obstacles are considered.
