Debayan Maity holds a Postdoctoral position at the ERC Advanced Grant project DyCon under the supervision of Prof. Enrique Zuazua (UAM and DeustoTech). Before that, he was a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Institut de Mathématiques de BordeauxI under the supervision of Prof. Marius Tucsnak. His main research interests are the fluid-solid interaction problems and the control of partial differential equations, namely fluid motions, population dynamics models, etc.

Controllability of a Class of Infinite Dimensional Systems with Age Structure
In this tutorial, we investigate the linear infinite dimensional system obtained by implementing an age structure to a given linear dynamical system. We show that if the initial system is null controllable in a time small enough, then the age structured system is also null controllable in a time depending on the various involved parameters.
